New Alison Krauss Collection album to be released on April 3, 2007. This set contains many Alison songs not available on any of her previous recordings. It also contains 5 new songs, and one never commercially available. (Sawing on the Strings) Nashville songwrite Julie Lee wrote two of the new songs. You may recall that Alison sang harmony vocals on Julie's critically acclaimed "Steelhouse Road." Listen to Julie's version of the song "Away down the River" at her MySpace Page

Alison Honors Dolly
Recently Alison was involved in the Kennedy Center Honors for Dolly Parton. Alison performed "Jolene" and "My Tennessee Mountain Home" accompanied by Suzanne Cox and Cheryl Wright. Alison also provided harmony vocals for Shania Twain on "Coat of Many Colors." Alison also gave the Toast to Dolly saying "Dolly you make me want to be somebody."
